The popular playground at Lake Štrkovec has undergone reconstruction

In the heart of Ružinov, between Bajkalská Street and the shore of Lake Štrkovec, lies a place that has attracted children and parents for generations - the Radosť Štrkovec Playground. It was created in the 1970s and is today remembered as one of the largest playgrounds in Bratislava.

The unique dominant feature of this area is the statue of a concrete camel by academic sculptor Rastislav Miklánek. It still combines nostalgia with the present in a fascinating way, as many Bratislava residents remember their childhoods when they jumped over this gravel camel in the sand.

The playground has undergone reconstruction, as a result of which we have added an octagonal tower set, a balační bridge, swings, a gym center, a carousel and a custom-made five-tower set with slides and swings.

It doesn't matter whether you come with children, a group of friends or just by yourself - this area will always offer you a reason to stop, take a deep breath and remind yourself that even urban space can be joyful, fun and full of movement.
